Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Dispatch Supply (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes, dispatches and delivers orders placed through our website. It forms part of our Buyers' Terms & Conditions and should be read alongside them.

1. Order Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders placed before 2:00pm (UK time), Monday to Friday, on a working day, will be dispatched the same working day, subject to stock availability and successful payment verification.
  • Orders placed after 2:00pm, or on a weekend or UK public/bank holiday, will be dispatched on the next working day.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales bank holidays. We do not dispatch on weekends or bank holidays.
  • During exceptional periods (for example severe weather, courier network disruption, or unusually high order volumes such as during seasonal peaks), dispatch times may be extended. We will display any known delays prominently on our website.

2. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes from the date of dispatch are as follows. These are estimates provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless an expedited or guaranteed service is purchased separately.

3. Delivery Areas

  • We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, where applicable surcharges may apply.
  • We do not currently offer international shipping outside the UK. [Amend if/when this changes, and ensure customs, duty and VAT obligations for international orders are separately addressed.]

4. Delivery Costs

  • Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions and value of your order, and the delivery service selected.
  • We may offer free delivery on orders exceeding a specified order value, as displayed on our website and at checkout from time to time.
  • Bulk and trade orders dispatched by pallet or freight carrier may incur a separate delivery charge, calculated individually and confirmed prior to dispatch.

5. Tracking Your Order

  • Where a tracked delivery service is used, a tracking reference will be provided by email once your order has been dispatched.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours from dispatch for tracking information to update on the courier's tracking system.
  • If your tracking shows no movement for more than 3 working days, please contact us at info@dispatchsupply.co.uk and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf.

6. Failed or Missed Deliveries

  • If you are not available to receive your delivery, the courier will generally leave a calling card with instructions for redelivery or collection from a local depot or safe place, in accordance with the courier's own procedures.
  • If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, we reserve the right to charge a re-dispatch fee to cover the cost of re-sending the order.
  • Please ensure your delivery address, postcode and contact details are entered correctly at checkout. We are not responsible for non-delivery caused by incorrect address information supplied by the customer.

7. Loss or Damage in Transit

  • All orders are sent using appropriately tracked and, where applicable, insured courier services.
  • If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damaged item(s) and packaging, so that we can raise a claim with the courier and arrange a replacement or refund.
  • If your order is confirmed as lost in transit by the courier (typically after a set investigation period, usually 10 working days from the expected delivery date), we will issue a replacement or full refund, at your choice, once the courier's investigation has concluded.

8. Business, Trade & Bulk Orders

  • Customers purchasing in a business or trade capacity (rather than as a consumer) should also refer to our Suppliers' Terms and any separate trade account agreement, where applicable, as different delivery and risk terms may apply to B2B transactions under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and standard commercial contract principles, rather than the consumer protections referenced above.
